(27) All NC-USS dies are bright zinc plated and all NF-SAE dies are black oxided to allow you to quickly tell them apart. Rethreading dies will not crosscut or undercut the thread the way a cutting die will. These dies are not to be used on hardened threads nor to cut new threads.
