(16) All left hand NC-USS dies are yellow zinc plated and all left hand NF-SAE dies are bright zinc plated to allow you to quickly tell them apart. Rethreading dies will not crosscut or undercut the thread the way a cutting tap will. These dies are not to be used on hardened threads nor to cut new threads.
